New Man at the Top for Ladbrokes Coral
Earlier this week, it was announced that Ladbrokes and the Gala Coral Group who between them own and operate thousands of land based betting offices and casinos are to merge to become one company, and that news did come as a surprise to many Binary Options traders.
However, what may surprise you even more is that this newly merged gambling company is going to install as their new man at the top Andy Hornby, who is probably best known for being the Chief Executive of Halifax Bank of Scotland when it nearly went bust!
Hornby did join Gala Coral upon leaving Halifax Bank of Scotland back in 2011 and will shortly it is expected be announced as their new Chief Operating Officer. Many people got stung with the near collapse of Halifax Bank of Scotland and if you were one of those people then you may be put off investing in the newly merged Ladbrokes Coral Group!
Whether he takes this new company onto bigger and better things will of course reamain to be seen, however Ladbrokes have been suffering in recent years and thanks to the new tie up with Gala Coral it is hoped he can put into play a new long term strategy that will put the company back onto a firm standing for the future.
