Sir Richard to Float Virgin Money

Sir Richard BransonThere are some very strong signals being given off by Sir Richard Branson that he is about to be putting in place a strategy to float Virgin Money on the London Stock Exchange, and this will probably not come as a surprise to anyone as this has probably been his long term aim from the day he dreamt up Virgin Money!

Should he choose to take the company onto the stock exchange then it is expected that it will have a value of somewhere around the £2Billion mark. Many industry commentators are saying that it will be in the coming days the Sir Richard will announce his plans to float the company.

It has been less than three years since Virgin Money swooped to take over the healthier parts of Northern Rock, and whilst the price paid for that part of the failed building society was not as high as it could be, Virgin Money has gone from strength to strength probably more so thanks to it being under the Virgin branding.

However, is not just the Virgin Group that own Virgin Money, for whilst it does own 47% there is someone else who has a significant share in Virgin Money and that is Wilbur Ross who is an American billionaire, and he has a stake of around 45% in Virgin Money.

The timing of this soon to be expected announcement that Virgin Money is to be floated is very strategic, for there are many investors who are looking to invest their funds in many of the newer challenger banks, due to them not having the problems still left over from the financial crisis of recent years.

This could be a savvy investment for anyone looking to invest in stocks and shares if or more likely when Virgin Money goes public, however when they do it will be another Binary Options trading opportunity for value will allow it entry into in the FTSE 100.

Things are of course still not looking good for many of the longer established banking institutions many of who are still under investigation for historic offences and wrong doing, and the share price of all major banks are continuing their usual and now daily roller coaster rides.
As part of your long term strategy to become a much more successful Binary Options trader you should always be making and keeping notes on any companies who may be about to be floated and look at their potential for the future.

There is nothing bad that can be said about Virgin Money, for they have reached the size where floating is the natural progression, and with demand for their shares when they do go public likely to be very high there is of course the potential to cash in during their stabilising period.

So add Virgin Money to your companies to watch listing, and do look out for the expected announcement from Sir Richard Branson sometime this week which is when he should be announcing Virgin Money is to be floated.
