John Lewis Confirms UK Retail Market Sector on a High

john lewisIf there was any doubt that the UK’s retail market sector was on a high and is expected to remain positive over the foreseeable future, those doubts have been blasted out of the water thanks to a commitment by John Lewis to invest a huge £500million on their online arm of the company

Famed for their customer focused department stores which are based throughout Great Britain, John Lewis have always had a strong and loyal following of very satisfied customers, who enjoy the personal touch they are guaranteed whenever the visit one of their stores.

However, if there is one retail market sector that John Lewis had been lacking in it is their online shopping division, and with John Lewis setting aside that £500million to be used to completely revamp and overhaul their online shopping arm of the company, they expect that part of the company to actually overtake their land based stores revenue in the next few years.

It is of course going to take several years to get this new online arm of their company launch and ready to roll out to their customers, and it is expected that it will be available from the end of 2018.
