European Stocks Tumble Following Earnings Reports and Geopolitical Tension
Stocks in Asia were traded high throughout the early session and weakened during the late hours of the day.
Shanghai Composite went down with 0.22% whilst Nikkei remained closed due to the bank holiday and Heng-Seng slightly moved down by -0.11%.
The Asian stock markets were currently being traded low throughout the week following the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 but the markets later moved upwards following the release data of positive earnings reports from Google and other companies in U.S. stocks.
European stocks were on downward trend as investors were concerned of the downing of Flight MH17. CAC 40 is down -0.41%, FTSE 100 slid -0.16%, and the disappointing PPI report caused the DAX declined by -0.36%.
Stocks in U.S. were weakened due to the positive earnings reports. According to analysis, most broker markets in U.S. declined due to the tension in Russia. NASDAQ declined by -0.17%, The Dow Jones declined by 0.17% lower and S&P 500 slid -0.24%.
