ASOS Shares on an Upward Curve

As a Binary Option trader you probably look at most online retailers with some form of trepidation, for the ever changing world of this trading market place does mean the share values of companies involved in it can swing quite wildly often with no rhyme or reason!

ASOSHowever, one of the more respected online clothing retailers and one that does boast a rather impressive client list with costumers including Rihanna and Samantha Cameron (the UK Prime Minsters wife), is ASOS and there has been some talk of a proposed takeover bid recently which has made their share value jump quite remarkably.

In fact ASOS shares increased in value yesterday day 7.6% rising to 2348p as rumours speculated that a US company was going to be placing a cash bid of around £50 a share for the company.

The majority share holder in ASOS is a Danish company by the name of Bestseller and it was the company bosses of that company which apparently had been approached by this mystery US bidder.

There have of course been many rumours recently about several companies who are very interested in buying ASOS one of these is the online auction site eBay and the other is Amazon who do not need an introduction, both companies it is fair to say are both very well versed in online trading in a very big way so either company would appear to be a good match, if of course the price offered is high enough.

In fact yesterday Amazon announced that they had finally completed their long awaited takeover of Twitch who if you didn’t know are a game streaming site, Twitch did not come cheap in fact the price paid by Amazon as a whopping £585million, but Amazon do have large pockets and there is still more money in the kitty that they have available and it is no secret that they do have a very great interest in buying into the online clothing retail industry.

Whether shares in ASOS continue to rise remains to be seen, but if those rumours are true and with Amazon or eBay being prepared to pay top Dollar for the company then the share value could be undervalued at this moment in time and as such ASOS may be worth a small punt when you are next logged into your Binary Options trading account.
